Why I'm Involved?
When I first heard about Concert for the Cure, I wanted to help and be involved with what the team was doing and achieving. Being able to increase the awareness in young people, while creating a chance for them to contribute in a fun environment is the motivating factor to my involvement. I have always enjoyed helping the team whether it was attending the events or organising ‘Pink on the Green’. When Nick asked me to join the team at the start of 2009, it was an opportunity to work for an amazing cause, of course I wanted to be involved.
More About Me
I’m currently studying Leisure Management majoring in events at University of Technology, Sydney. I have been working at Luna Park for over 2 years and have seen many different types of events for range of causes. With my degree and experience I aim to help CFTC to make their events stand out above the rest and create a great experience for all those who attend.
I love going overseas when I can afford it. Since 2006 I have worked in England for a year, studied in America and traveled South East Asia. In Sydney I thrive on the sun, beaches, all music festivals and concerts, Super 14 games, and playing netball.
My Music
I don’t have a strong passion for any one type. I will enjoy listening to anything from dance to rock, indie to pop. Music to me is more about the experience it can create, whether its just at a house party, chilling on the beach, a music festival or a small gig it can control the atmosphere of most occasions, so all music is good for me.
