Why I'm involved...

I went to primary school with Nick, Ally, Fran and Lewis at Woollahra Public School. Nick’s mother was my Kindergarten and year 1 teacher. She also taught my younger sister and became a close family friend.
Nick first approached me in October 2006 during 1st year uni with his desire to do something for Breast Cancer involving everyone in our generation and presented the idea that it would be facilitated through a concert. I was so excited to get involved and immediately, with Nick’s enthusiasm and drive, the committee of Concert for the Cure was formed to developed and implement the event.

I believe that Concert for the Cure is not just a way to raise money it is an exciting medium that involves all young Australians to understand and appreciate the way that Breast Cancer affects a huge breadth of our society both directly and indirectly. Through one small idea and one small group I hope that this concert can enthuse and excite other young Australians by providing an avenue to show their support and involvement in finding a cure for Breast Cancer.
